Terms of UseTerms of Use
1. About these Terms
These Terms govern use of the public Talliant website and, where they are not replaced by a signed customer agreement, authorized access to the Talliant business application provided by Talliant Automation Private Limited ("Talliant", "we", "us" or "our").
If an organization has a signed agreement with Talliant, that agreement controls to the extent of a conflict. Candidates should read the Candidate Terms of Use.
3. Acceptable use
You may use the service only for lawful, authorized business and recruitment purposes. You must not:
- attempt to access another person’s or organization’s information without authorization;
- circumvent authentication, tenant separation, usage limits or security controls;
- introduce malware, harmful code or disruptive traffic;
- scrape, copy or extract information except through an authorized feature and purpose;
- upload personal information without appropriate authority, notice and legal basis;
- impersonate a candidate, recruiter or other person;
- use Talliant to unlawfully discriminate, profile or make prohibited employment decisions;
- rely on an AI output as unquestionable fact; or
- interfere with an interview, assessment or integrity control.
Security testing requires written authorization and agreed rules of engagement. Good-faith vulnerability reports may be submitted through security@talliant.ai.
4. Customer responsibilities
Customer organizations are responsible for:
- lawful job criteria, prompts and workflow configuration;
- authority to submit candidate and employee information;
- timely candidate and user notices;
- appropriate review of AI-assisted outputs;
- accommodation and alternative-process decisions;
- lawful recruitment communications and channel selection;
- employment, anti-discrimination and recordkeeping obligations; and
- actions taken by their authorized users.
The customer agreement and data-processing terms may allocate additional responsibilities.
5. AI-assisted features
Talliant may generate or support resume analysis, role-match indicators, scores, rankings, questions, transcripts, summaries, insights and recommendations. AI outputs can be inaccurate, incomplete or affected by the criteria, prompt and source information supplied.
Customers must review outputs in context and apply appropriate professional judgment and applicable legal requirements. Talliant does not guarantee that an output predicts job performance or produces a particular hiring outcome. Talliant also does not promise that every workflow event is reviewed by a person unless the applicable configured workflow specifically states and enforces that requirement.
6. Customer and candidate information
Information provided through the service remains subject to the applicable customer agreement, Data Processing Addendum and public privacy documents. You grant Talliant only the rights needed to provide the authorized service and meet applicable obligations.
Do not use confidential or personal information for product improvement, benchmarking, model training or another secondary purpose unless that purpose has been separately approved, documented and communicated.
7. Intellectual property
Talliant and its licensors retain their rights in the website, platform, software, documentation, branding and service-generated components. Except where a signed agreement permits it, you may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or create a competing derivative service from protected Talliant materials.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of customer or candidate-provided content to Talliant.
8. Third-party services
The service may interact with customer-enabled or contracted third-party services. Their availability and terms may affect a feature. Talliant must describe material providers and international processing through the applicable privacy and customer documentation, based on verified facts.
You must not connect a third-party service unless you are authorized to do so and have assessed the information that will be shared.
9. Availability and changes
Features may change as the service develops. Signed agreements control service levels, maintenance commitments and support arrangements. Talliant may make changes needed for security, legal or operational reasons and will provide notice where the applicable agreement or law requires it.
10. Suspension and termination
Access may be suspended or restricted where reasonably necessary to address unauthorized use, security risk, legal requirements, non-payment or material breach, subject to the applicable agreement and mandatory rights.
On termination, account access, data return and deletion follow the applicable agreement, approved retention rules and lawful preservation requirements.
11. Warranties, liability and mandatory rights
AI-assisted and online services can contain errors and may be interrupted. Any warranties, exclusions, indemnities and liability limits are governed by the signed customer agreement where one exists and otherwise by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Privacy
The Privacy Policy explains relevant processing. Candidate information is also addressed in the Candidate Privacy Policy. Cookie information is addressed in the Cookie Policy.
